A little bit about myself.
I'm a 15 year old triathlete from California. Started out as a runner, developed into a cyclist and now working on being a swimmer. I got recruited by WeTri triathlon team in 2014. Armed with a X-Terra wetsuit, a Cannondale Syanpse bike and a pair of Adidas running shoes, I'm ready to take on the triathlon world. I also race high school cross country for Whitney and high school and also race mountain bikes part time. I've been doing triathlons for about 2-3 years now, but now, I've taken to the next level to race at the USAT level. Racing is a passion of mine, it always has been, doesn't matter, it could triathlons, cross country, mountain biking, I love it. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication. Thankful for everybody that has helped me out so far.
Let me tell you a little bit about what I use, gear and nutrition. My road bike is a 2014 Cannondale Synapse disc brake model, its a great bike, makes for a really comfortable ride, my mountain bike is a 2010 Cannondale Rize 5, its a perfect cross country mtb bike. My running shoes are the new Adidas tempo boost, really comfortable, great for long runs. I use a X-Terra vortex wetsuit for my swim, great wetsuit for the money. Nutrition is a big part a being a competitive athlete, on my rides I tend to have a Clifbar Gu shot and shotblocks, a Natures bakery fig bar (they're my addiction), and Tailwind nutrition drink in my bottles. As my recovery I use Endurox R4. Oh, I almost forgot about GPS tracking, I use three different Garmins, for biking I use a Garmin Edge 500, for running a Garmin Forerunner 405 and for triathlon a Garmin Forerunner 910XT, then I use Garmin Express to connect it all to my Strava page.
